Henri Mulet: Tu es Petra, from Esquisses Byzantines

Full title: Tu es petra et portae inferi non praevalebunt adversus te (You are the rock and the gates of hell will not prevail against you). Esquisses Byzantines was composed between 1914 and 1919.

Recorded on the Aeolian-Skinner organ at the Hyde Park Community Methodist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio; a recording of music from the inaugural recital, played by Wayne Fisher on Sept. 20, 1959.
